GE: signs framework agreement with IRENA

(CercleFinance.com) - At the COP27, GE announced the signing of a framework agreement with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) on the implementation of a plan to ensure energy security while combating climate change.


Through this collaboration, GE and IRENA have agreed to work together on a number of specific areas, including decarbonisation, thought leadership and the sustainable adoption of all forms of renewable energy.

GE knows that this partnership is key to addressing climate change and energy security. It is therefore honoured to partner IRENA as a key stakeholder in achieving the common goal of a just and ambitious energy transition, it said.
