GE: reopens prior debt offering for 3 billion dollars

(CercleFinance.com) - GE said that it has reopened portions of a prior debt offering for 3 billion dollars in response to a reverse inquiry from a long-term strategic investor.


The industrial group said it expects to use the proceeds to reduce short-term debt, including repaying a portion of GE's intercompany debt obligations to GE Capital and reducing GE Capital's outstanding debt.
