GE: FDA approves incisionless surgery system
(CercleFinance.com) - GE Healthcare said on Wednesday that its Sigma magnetic resonance imaging system in combination with Insightec's incisionless surgery won U.
S. Food and Drug Administration approval, as well as CE mark. The "Exablate Neuro" ultrasound platform for treating deep in the brain with no surgical incisions has obtained FDA approval for the treatment of medication-refractory essential tremor and tremor-dominant Parkinson's disease, the company said.
