GE: new CEO of GE Transportation.

(CercleFinance.com) - GE has announced the appointment of Rafael Santana as President and CEO of GE Transport, taking office from 1 November, replacing Jamie Miller, who will become the US conglomerate's CFO.


Currently president and CEO of GE Latin America, Rafael Santana has over 17 years of experience working in the group, with key roles at GE Oil & Gas, Power and Transportation. Previously, he worked at ExxonMobil and British American Tobacco.

John Flannery, chairman and CEO of GE, said, "His experience helping teams navigate through this tough market, combined with his deep global, operational, services and industrial experience make him the perfect fit for this role."
