GE: over 31 billion dollars in orders at Paris Air Show.
(CercleFinance.com) - GE and its partners have received over 31 billion dollars in orders and commitments at the Paris Le Bourget Air Show, the US industrial giant said on Thursday.
GE Aviation and its joint ventures, led by the joint venture with France's Safran CFM International, have announced more than 1,700 GE and CFM engine orders and commitments. The biggest deal was China Eastern Airlines buying LEAP-1A engines for 70 Airbus A320neos for a value of 3.2 billion dollars.
