Ford: to build new plant for electric vehicles

(CercleFinance.com) - Ford group announced on Wednesday that it is expanding its production capacity of electric vehicles, through the creation of a second site in the north of the United States.


The Flat Rock (Michigan) plant has been chosen to receive the new equipment. In all, Ford will invest some 900 million dollars, creating 900 new jobs by 2023.

Ford adds that Flat Rock employees will assemble the brand's first autonomous vehicle from 2021.
