Foot Locker: Q2 EPS more than triples

(CercleFinance.com) - Foot Locker has reported Q2 adjusted EPS of 2.
21 dollars, more than triples (+211%) its level a year ago, on revenue that increased 9.5% to 2.27 billion dollars (+6.9% on a comparable basis).

The group said that the quarter reflects strong results from its women and children's footwear businesses, as well as broad demand for apparel and accessories, combined with more limited promotional activity.

The sporting goods chain said that it is cautiously optimistic about the outlook for H2, while acknowledging that it is still operating in an uncertain environment due to Covid-19.
