ExxonMobil: proceeds with Paraya project, in Guyana
(CercleFinance.com) - After the government's approval, ExxonMobil has decided to invest in the development of Paraya, an oilfield, offshore Guyana.
After production starts in 2024, the project is expected to extract up to 220,000 barrels of oil control per day with the help of Prosperity aid, an FPSO vessel. On site, resources are estimated at around 600 million boe. In all, ten drill centers are planned, along with up to 41 well - 20 production wells and 21 injection wells.
