Disney: loses 2 million domestic ESPN subscribers
(CercleFinance.com) - Disney lost 2 million domestic subscribers at its its ESPN sports network over the third quarter, the media company said in a 10-K form on Wednesday.
ESPN had an estimated 86 million domestic suscribers at the end of the third quarter, compared to 88 million subscribers at the end of third-quarter 2017, according to research firm Nielsen Media.
Luckily, ESPN international subscribers grew to 157 millon by the end of the third quarter, from 146 million a year ago, the filing showed.
