Deere: Q2 EPS above estimates

(CercleFinance.com) - John Deere has reported Q2 2019-20 earnings that are down 41% at 666 million dollars, or 2.
11 dollars per share, albeit significantly above the consensus.

The manufacturer of agricultural and construction machinery based in Moline (Illinois) saw its sales fall by 18% to 9.25 billion dollars, including revenue from the equipment activities falling by 20% to 8.22 billion dollars.

Deere says that it expects FY earnings of 1.6 billion to 2 billion dollars, but warns that there are many uncertainties remaining over the effects that the pandemic, which could well affect its future results.
