Comcast: beats consensus and raises dividend

(CercleFinance.com) - Comcast has reported Q4 2019 adjusted EPS that is up 9.
7% at 79 cents, beating the consensus by four cents, while its adjusted EBITDA rose by 3% to 8.44 billion dollars.

At 28.4 billion dollars, the cable operator's revenue, which is also the parent company of NBCUniversal and Sky, increased by 2%. In its cable activities alone, revenues increased 2.6%, boosted by broadband Internet and professional services.

Posting FY 2019 adjusted EPS that is up 14.7% at 3.13 dollars, Comcast's board of directors has decided to raise its dividend by 10% to 92 cents per share on an annualized basis for 2020.
