Colgate-Palmolive: buys oral care brand Hello

(CercleFinance.com) - Colgate-Palmolive has agreed to acquire Hello, one of the fastest-growing premium oral care brands in the US, the consumer goods giant said on Friday.


Hello's products - which include adult and kids toothpaste, mouth wash, toothbrushes and floss - have a strong appeal amongst younger consumers, the company said. They are sold only in the US.

The acquisition will be financed with a combination of cash and debt and is currently expected to close by February 2020, Colgate said. Its financial terms were not disclosed.
