Citigroup: raises dividend to 45 cents per share

(CercleFinance.com) - Citigroup said it would increase its quarterly dividend to 45 cents per shares from 32 cents per share, prompting a slight rise in its share price.


The quarterly dividend on Citigroup's common stock will be payable on August 24, to stockholders of record on August 6, the financial group said on Friday.

Shares of Citigroup are currently up 0.7%, compared to a 0.1% fall in S&P 500 index.
