Caterpillar: new general counsel and corporate secretary.

(CercleFinance.com) - Caterpillar has announced the appointment of Suzette Long as general counsel and corporate secretary.
Long has provided interim leadership to Caterpillar's Law and Public Policy group since mid-February.

As a member of the executive committee of the US construction equipment giant, she will be responsible for the legal services divisions and global business and government affairs. She takes office with immediate effect.

She first joined Caterpillar in 2004 as an attorney in the legal department. Prior to joining Caterpillar, she was an attorney with the law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy in Phoenix, Arizona.
