Campbell: unveils strategic reorganization and names new COO

(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Thursday Campbell Soup unveiled a strategic reorganization to better compete in a "rapidly changing" food industry, the world's leading soup maker said.


The new structure will organize Campbell's core businesses - including its strategic soup and simple meals lines - under the leadership of Luca Mignini as chief operating officer (COO).

Luca Mignini, 55, joined Campbell in 2013, from frozen food maker Findus.

As part of this reorganization, Campbell will also create a new unit to expand in faster-growing spaces and invest in high-growth areas, being responsible for long-term innovation, small brand incubation, e-commerce and new distribution models.
