Boeing: resumes production of 737 MAX

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing announced on Wednesday evening that it has resumed production of the 737 MAX at its Renton, Washington site, with the company set to ramp up production of this program this year.


The plane maker has resumed production of these aircraft gradually, due to the implementation of numerous measures to improve workplace safety and product quality.

In addition, it has announced a plan to lay off nearly 6,800 staff in the United States, with compulsory departures, with staff reductions also set to be implemented at international sites.
