Boeing: finalizing software update after Ethiopian crash

(CercleFinance.com) - On Sunday Boeing said that it is finalising the development of a previously-announced software update after the Ethiopian Airlines crash the previous week.


The US aviation giant is also completing pilot training revision that will address the MCAS flight control law's behavior in response to erroneous sensor inputs, it said.

As part of standard practice, Boeing said it is examining its aircraft design and operation, prompting product updates to further improve safety.

Boeing said it continues to support the investigation and is working with investigating authorities on the matter.
