Boeing: 99 orders; 64 deliveries in August

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing on Tuesday said that it delivered 64 jetliners last month and booked orders for 99 aircraft worth about 9.
5 billion dollars at list prices.

The biggest order was taken on 31 August, when an unidentified client bought 737 MAX 40, the Chicago-based aerospace and defense company said on its Website.

In comparison, Airbus booked orders for five A320 jetliners in August while delivering a total of 54 aircraft.

Investors tend to watch closely order and delivery numbers so as to be able to estimate future revenue.
