Boeing: invests in Californian drone system start-up

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing has invested in Kittyhawk, a San Francisco-based company that enables piloted and autonomous air vehicles to coexist.


Kittyhawk's technology integrates real-time commercial unmanned aircraft systems and flight operations and management solutions - all in one platform.

Since it was founded in 2015, Kittyhawk has grown its customer base to include industry leaders in media, insurance, energy, rail transportation and fire and emergency management agencies.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
