BlackRock: invests in Clarity AI

(CercleFinance.com) - SoftBank and BlackRock are investing in the sustainability technology company Clarity AI.


SoftBank Vision Fund 2 led a round of financing and was joined by the Fifth Wall ClimateTech Fund and existing investors, including BlackRock.

Existing investors include Deutsche Boerse, Kibo Ventures, Mundi Ventures, Seaya Ventures and Founders Fund.

Clarity AI is now worth 450 million dollars after raising 50 million dollars in its last funding round, which closed in August 2021.

The sustainable investment market already accounts for more than a third of total global assets and is growing rapidly, said SoftBank said, while BlackRock added that it continues to believe in the value of Clarity AI's data and tools, and the increased transparency and flexibility they offer.

The share is down 1% in early trading today.
