Apple: dividend increase and share buybacks

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening Apple announced that its board of directors has decided to increase its quarterly dividend by 7% to 0.
22 dollar per share, to be paid in May, as well as a 90 billion dollar increase in its current share buyback program.

For the first three months of 2021, the technology giant's EPS reached 1.40 dollar, well above the consensus, on record revenue of 89.6 billion dollars (two-thirds of which was international), up 54% year-on-year.

The group said that its March quarter performance included record revenues in each of its geographic segments and strong double-digit growth in each of its product categories.
