American Express: shares up after Amazon agreement
(CercleFinance.com) - Shares in American Express are up slightly this Tuesday after the payment processing network announced plans to launch a new cobranded Amazon credit card for small businesses in the US.
The new cobranded card will let small businesses buy goods and services across Amazon, as part of a larger multi-year partnership, the credit card lender said.
The partnership also includes an enhanced data solution with Amazon Business, Amazon's B2B e-commerce marketplace and purchasing system, Amex said.
The shares are currently up 0.2% at 98.7 dollars.
