Amazon: cloud unit to open infrastructure location in Spain

(CercleFinance.com) - Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud unit of Amazon.
com, said on Thursday that it will open an infrastructure location in Spain.

The new location will be AWS' seventh region in Europe, joining existing regions in Dublin, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Stockholm, and the upcoming Milan region launching in early 2020.

The Spanish data centers are expected to open in late 2022 or early 2023, Amazon said.
