Alphabet: Google-ODV partnership to finance start-ups

(CercleFinance.com) - Orange has said that it has partnered with Google through Orange Digital Ventures (ODV), the telecoms operator's corporate venture fund, to combine their efforts in the funding of the best start-ups.


ODV and Google's management team will jointly evaluate start-ups from the ecosystems in which Orange is present (new connectivity, IoT, cybersecurity, cloud, fintech) as well as the new business models in the Middle East and Africa zone.

This cooperation will be extended by regular coordination meetings between both groups' management teams in order to examine the opportunities for collaboration around start-ups to accelerate the dynamics of open innovation at Orange.
