AT&T: matches IBM and Microsoft blockchain offer

(CercleFinance.com) - AT&T said it has created a suite of blockchain solutions designed to work with technology from IBM and Microsoft, enabling enterprise customers to automate and digitalize their business processes.


AT&T said its solutions can record data on the IBM blockchain platform, an environment that already supports live production networks for industries such as supply chain, provenance and logistics.

The operator added that its consulting team can also deploy Microsoft Azure blockchain technology to build open, trusted cloud platforms.

Blockchain creates a shared ecosystem across parties to exchange information securely.

AT&T said its blockchain solutions can be used across several industries to track origins and the movement of goods, ensures products' authenticity or enable the sharing of patient records in healthcare.
