AT&T: raises targets for 2018

(CercleFinance.com) - After publishing better-than-expected quarterly results this Tuesday evening, AT&T has raised its annual targets, which now aim for an adjusted EPS of around 3.
5 dollars and free cash-flow of approximately 21 billion.

The American telecoms giant has seen its adjusted EPS increase by 15% to 91 cents for the past quarter, beating consensus by four cents, for a turnover of 39.9 billion dollars on a comparable basis, up 0.2%.

AT&T explains that this slight rise in revenue essentially reflects the conclusion of the Time Warner acquisition last June, after US courts gave the green light for this huge 85-billion-dollar transaction.
