Ericsson: 5G partnership in Australia
(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson has announced a 5G Core partnership with TPG Telecom in Australia, for autonomous 5G networks.
The group said that the cloud-native dual-mode 5G core will drive service and technology innovation for TPG Telecom's customers. With the completion of the 5G autonomous core network, TPG Telecom will cover 85% of the population in ten of Australia's largest cities and regions with its 5G network by the end of this year.
