Ericsson: launches 5G Core Policy Studio

(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson has announced the launch of a new network programmability tool, called "5G Core Policy Studio", to enable communication service providers to capture 5G revenues more easily by offering differentiation.


The Swedish telecoms equipment maker says the tool provides access and control of all policies that manage different 5G and 4G services via an easy-to-use graphical user interface.

According to Ericsson's tests, it can save up to 70% of policy configuration operational expenses by simplifying design and configuration activities compared to a similar network configuration run without the tool.
