Ericsson: inks network modernisation deal in LatAm
(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson has been selected by Millicom's Latin American operator Tigo to modernize its radio access network (RAN) in a multi-year deal involving a 5G-ready infrastructure, the Swedish company said on Friday.
Under the terms of the deal, Ericsson will implement its radio systems in approximately 1,000 sites, with the first phase taking place in Paraguay and Honduras in 2018. The agreement includes the provision of a 5G-ready network. Copyright (c) 2018 CercleFinance.com. All rights reserved. |
