Ericsson: commercial IoT network deployed in Sri Lanka

(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson said on Thursday it has rolled out a massive commercial Internet of Things (IoT) network for Dialog Axiata, Sri Lanka's largest telecommunications services provider.


The network is the first massive IoT network in South Asia that is commercially available, the Swedish group said.

Yesterday Ericsson said it has set up a 5G research center in Russia with the country's biggest mobile phone operator, MTS.
