Electrolux: Q4 sales up 17.5%

(CercleFinance.com) - Electrolux's net sales reached 33.
9 billion Swedish kronor in Q4 2020, up 17.5% y-o-y.

The company says that consumers are allocating more of their family budget to home renovation and that it has also performed well - both in terms of prices and product mix.

Q4 profit came in at 1.86 billion Swedish kronor, streets ahead of the 366 million Swedish kronor posted a year ago, meaning Q4 EPS of 6.47 Swedish kronor.

The Board has proposed a dividend of 8 Swedish kronor per share for 2020, compared to 7 Swedish kronor per share a year ago.

For the first half of 2021, Electrolux expects demand to exceed normal seasonal levels in its major markets, although capacity and component availability are likely to remain tricky factors.

Maybe the market has focused on this point, as the share is down about 0.5% in late morning trading on Tuesday.
