Equinor: transfer of operatorship in Barents Sea project
(CercleFinance.com) - Norway's Equinor and Austria's OMV have said that they have agreed on transferring the operatorship of the Wisting license, in the Barents Sea, to Equinor.
The deal transfers the operatorship of the field in its development phase to Equinor, which owns 35% of the project. OMV - which holds 25% - will assume the role as operator for the operation phase.
