Stellantis: final tests for new Peugeot 408

(CercleFinance.com) - The new Peugeot 408 will be unveiled on 22 June, although will be camouflaged to conceal its details.


This new Peugeot continues to undergo the strictest of tests before production starts in the autumn. The validation program follows an extremely precise protocol, including tests on roads and tracks, as well as in the laboratory and on dedicated benches, management said.

Numerous simulations are carried out using highly sophisticated IT programs, which enable faster development while making the most efficient use of resources.

With these test cars, the new Peugeot 408 has already been driven a total of nearly 1,100,000 km in all possible conditions, on all road profiles and in many climates.
