Stellantis: Peugeot leads French PC market in 2021

(CercleFinance.com) - In 2021, for the first time, Peugeot will lead the French market in terms of passenger car sales, while, for the second year running, the Peugeot 208 will be the best-selling car in France in both the PC + LCV market.


In a PC+LCV market that grew by 1.9%, Peugeot had a 17.3% market share. While in a LCV market that is up 7.5%, Peugeot had a 17.8% market share.

In the passenger car segment, Peugeot is the leader with a 17.3% market share and is the leader in electrified vehicles (electric vehicles + Plugin Hybrid vehicles).

The Peugeot 208 holds onto its leading position in France, with a market share of 5.3%.

The share is currently up very slightly (+0.15%), although is underperforming the market (CAC 40 +0.55%).
