Signify: starts share buyback program

(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch lighting group Signify said on Tuesday that it is starting a share buyback program of approximately 6 million euros to cover obligations from its performance-based incentive plans and other employee share plans.


The Eindhoven-based company plans to repurchase up to 240,000 of its own shares, or 0.2% of the company's share capital, with the program expected to be completed in the second quarter, it said.
