Signify: Philips' CFO stepping down from board

(CercleFinance.com) - Signify has said that Abhijit Bhattacharya, the CFO of ex-parent company Royal Philips, will step down from his supervisory board at the end of the year.


"Abhijit Bhattacharya has expressed his wish to step down from Signify's supervisory board in light of Royal Philips's current shareholding in Signify and its intention to further sell down its stake over time," the Dutch lighting group said.

Royal Philips' current stake in Signify is just over 18%.

Signify said it will propose a new candidate "in due course."
