ING: no longer to be called 'ING Direct' in France

(CercleFinance.com) - ING Group announced this morning that its French division is changing its name today, from ING Direct to ING, as part of a harmonisation process initiated between all subsidiaries.


The move from ING Direct to ING confirms the brand's simplicity, with “ING” being the name that is already widely used by the bank's clients. This change strengthens synergies and enhance the brand's strength, ING explains, which in the meantime is changing its customer communication charter in order to highlight the quality of customer relations.

The online bank has over one million clients in France, and more than 35.8 million worldwide - private individuals, professionals and institutions alike.
