Ferrari: confirms full-year guidance after third quarter

(CercleFinance.com) - Italian luxury sportscar maker Ferrari reported a 5% rise in third-quarter operating profit on Monday and confirmed its full-year guidance.


Ferrari said adjusted EBITDA in the July-September period rose to 278 million euros, from 266 million euros a year earlier.

Quarterly revenues were up 11% to 2.26 billion euros, while shipments rose by 11% to 2,262 units.

The V12 performance, led by the 812 Superfast, has offset lower sales of LaFerrari Aperta, which is finishing its limited series run, the group said.

Ferrari said it expects shipments to rise to over 9,000 vehicles this year, on revenues expected to be above the 3.4 billion euros mark.

The New York-listed Ferrari shares were down 1.8% on pre-market trading after these results.
