Ferrari: 2018 outlook confirmed

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Italian sports carmaker Ferrari confirmed its outlook for 2018, after reporting a "record" Q2 at the operating level.
The Maranello-based company still expects shipments to exceed 9,000 vehicles this year, including supercars, while net revenues are expected above the 3.4 billion euro mark and adjusted EBITDA above 1.1 billion euros.

In its first quarterly report since the death of iconic boss Sergio Marchionne last week, Ferrari said shipments in the second quarter totaled 2,463 vehicles, up 5.6% from year-on-year. Adjusted EBIT rose 8% to 218 million euros.

At the group's extraordinary general meeting on 7 September in Amsterdam, shareholders will have to appoint Louis C. Camilleri as the group's new CEO, replacing Marchionne.
