Altice Europe: joint venture in advanced fiber progresses

com) -According to Les Echos this morning, three funds appear to be about to enter the capital of the joint venture dedicated to optical fiber, that telecom operator Altice Europe (whose main subsidiary is SFR) wants to create.

The aim is to share the investments of this leading ADSL technology, which Altice Europe is committed to developing.

Although eight funds have expressed interest in this "joint venture," only three candidates still seem to be in the running, the financial daily believes. These are the US fund KKR, the Australian fund Macquarie and the French group Mirova, with allies.

Meetings between investors and Altice Europe's management are scheduled to take place "this week".
