Euronext: 43% rise in spot volumes in May.

(CercleFinance.com) - In May 2017 Euronext reported average trading volumes of 8.
47 billion euros a day on its spot markets, up 42.8% compared to the same period in 2016.

The pan-European stock exchange operator points out that ETF index fund activity grew by 22.5%, with an average daily volume of 548 million euros.

The average daily volume traded on equity index derivatives increased by 14.1% y-o-y, to 222,863 contracts, while that of individual equity derivatives increased by 39% y-o-y to 260,315 contracts exchanged.
