FCA: prepares to restart production in North America

(CercleFinance.com) - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is preparing to restart its North American production operations, the Italo-American carmaker said on Tuesday.


FCA said it has been working to implement best practices that have enabled the restart of operations at its facilities in China and Italy.

On top of cleaning, disinfecting and social distancing, the auto giant will require both its employees and visitors to complete a daily health risk assessment, consisting of taking their temperature and completing a self-screening questionnaire.

Its plants in the US, Canada and Mexico closed on 18 March.
