Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: September US sales jump 15%

(CercleFinance.com) - Fiat Chrysler's September auto sales jumped 15% in the US from a year ago, boosted by record numbers from its Ram and Jeep brands, the carmaker said on Tuesday.


FCA reported US sales of 199,819 vehicles over the last month, compared to 174,266 vehicles in the same period of 2017.

The last September's total sales record was in 2000, when sales reached 219,966 vehicles.

Sales were driven by Ram pickup trucks, Jeep Cherokee and the Jeep Compass, FCA said in a statement.
