FCA: Europe sales up 1.5 percent in October.

(CercleFinance.com) - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said on Thursday that its European car sales rose by 1.
5% in October, helped by the strenghth of the Alfa Romeo brand.

Deliveries in the 28 EU markets, plus EFTA, rose to 76,300 models last month, bringing year-to-date sales to almost 907,800 vehicles, up 7.6% year-on-year, versus just 3.8% for the industry.

Alfa Romeo sales jumped by 20.3% in October to nearly 6,500 vehicles, according to FCA, which reminds that Alfa Romeo's Stelvio SUV was not available in 2016.

Shares were up 2.2 percent at 14.9 euros in Milan after these numbers.
