NN Group: 41% of shareholders choose stock dividend

(CercleFinance.com) - NN Group said on Tuesday that 41% of its shareholders have chosen to receive their dividend in ordinary shares.


As shareholders will receive one ordinary share for every 35 ordinary shares they hold, around 3.9 million new ordinary shares will be issued as stock dividend, the Dutch financial group said.

NN plans to neutralise the dilutive effect of the stock dividend through the repurchase of ordinary shares totaling 142 million euros, i.e. equivalent to the value of the stock dividend.
