Euronext: UBS still a buyer, targets E94

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday UBS renewed its buy rating on the Euronext stock, with an unchanged target of 94 euros, meaning upside potential of 35%.


In a report, the broker notes that the current valuation of the share of the pan-European stock market operator implies a scenario of a fall in volumes that is similar to that of the 2008 financial crisis, a situation that seems highly unlikely at this stage.

This depressed stockmarket valuation, combined with the prospect of future favourable catalysts, starting with the upcoming annual results, leads the broker to perceive a favourable risk/return profile for the stock.

The share closed up 1% at exactly 70 euros yesterday, in a market that was up about 0.5%.
