Euronext: cash volumes stable in August

(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has announced average daily cash volumes of 6.
19 billion euros on its cash markets in August 2018, flat y-o-y.

The pan-European stockmarket operator stated that activity on ETF index funds fell by 9.9% y-o-y, recording an average daily volume of 176 million euros.

However, the average daily trading volume of all derivatives rose by 4.7% y-o-y to 580,149 contracts per day, while that on the spot FX market rose by 19.7% to 19.45 billion euros.
