Euronext: raises stake in Fastmatch

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday morning Euronext announced that it has increased its stake in FastMatch, a global FX spot market operator, by approximately 8%.
Note that FastMatch has been operating as a Euronext company since August 2017.

These shares were bought from FastMatch's co-founder and CEO, Dmitri Galinov. Along with the majority stake bought in August 2017, this additional stake brings Euronext's total shareholding to around 97.3%.

The group added that last June Kevin Wolf, head of FICC (Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Commodities) for Euronext in the US, was appointed CEO of FastMatch to succeed Dmitri Galinov.
