Euronext: finalises acquisition of the Irish Stock Exchange

(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has finalised the acquisition of the Irish Stock Exchange, the Dublin Stock Exchange, after obtaining regulatory approvals.
The deal was announced on 29 November 2017.

The Irish Stock Exchange will integrate the European stock exchange operator's network of marketplaces under the name of Euronext Dublin, and will be under the responsibility of Deirdre Somers. Thus, Ireland becomes the sixth "core country" where Euronext is present.

Euronext Dublin will be consolidated in the accounts of its new parent company as from 1 April 2018.

In 2017, the future Irish subsidiary generated 32.3 million euros in turnover and generated an EBITDA margin of 31.9%.
