Gemalto: collaboration agreement with Qualcomm

(CercleFinance.com) - Gemalto has announced a new collaboration agreement to integrate advanced mobile connectivity solutions into the Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile PC platform.
This product has been developed by Qualcomm Incorporated's subsidiary, Qualcomm Technologies Inc.

This agreement paves the way for the marketing of the iSIM over a wide range of Always Connected computers, laptops and tablets. The first generation of Snapdragon mobile PC computers with Gemalto's technology is expected to be introduced in 2019.

This collaboration will support the integration of eSIM technology and Gemalto's remote subscription solution management with the new Secure Processing Unit (SPU) on the Snapdragon mobile PC platform.
